Hotel Information

We are very happy to announce that The Crowne Plaza is our new host hotel this year which is in an awesome location in the heart of downtown Columbus, Ohio!  The Crowne Plaza is located steps from High Street on 33 E. Nationwide Boulevard.

The Crowne Plaza is offering a great rate of only $83 per night plus tax for a double room.  And this rate is a flat rate, good for one person or up to four people in a room.  When calling to reserve a room, please mention you are using the Labor of Love Volleyball rate. The Crowne Plaza is in the heart of the Arena District home to the NHL's Columbus Blue Jackets and home to many great restaurants as well as having a Max & Erma's Restaurant attached to the hotel and a coffee and bagel cafe located in the lobby.  The Crowne Plaza is also only a short walk from the Short North which is the "gay" area of town with many restaurants and bars to choose from.  The hotel is also very close to all of our host bars this year. HOSPITALITY SUITE

We wanted to do something special for everyone playing again this year so we will be providing a Hospitality Suite for everyone participating in the Labor of Love Volleyball Classic at the Crowne Plaza. If you are staying at the hotel, there will be no charge for access to the suite but if you are not staying at the hotel there will be a one time charge of $15 for access for the whole weekend or a $10 per day fee.

In the Hospitality Suite, there will be FREE beer, Vanessa's Famous Labor of Love Punch and soda/other non-alcoholic beverages.

The times for the suite are as follows (subject to change):
Friday, August 31 - 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Saturday, September 1 - 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
Sunday, September 2 - 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.

We truly want to make our tournament stand out from the rest and want to make your stay in Columbus a memorable one. The Hospitality Suite is in the Blacklick Suite on the 3rd Floor of the Crowne Plaza (Room 315).

Parking

There are a few options for you to choose from for parking at and near The Crowne Plaza.  

Valet parking is available at the Crowne Plaza for $12 per night which includes in and out privileges each day. 

There are also various surface lots available but these do not allow in and out privileges and are approximately $10 each time you leave.

There are numerous metered parking spaces on the streets around the hotel.  Please be aware that some of the times the meters are in affect are different.  You don't want to get your car towed!!
